ಈ ಪರಿಯ ಸೊಬಗ ಏನೆಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಲಿ
ಸಾಟಿ ಯಾರುಂಟು ಈ ಸೊಗಸಿಗೆ ಲೋಕದಲಿ
ಮಿಂಚಿನ ಸಂಚಾರ ಅವ ಕುಳಿತ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ
ವರ್ಣಿಸಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಅವಳ ಏಳೆಂಟು ಪದಗಳಲಿ??

ಅವಳ ಮೊಗವ ನೋಡಿ ಮೊಗ್ಗಾಯ್ತು ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ
ಹಾಡುವ ಬಾನಾಡಿ ಮತ್ಸರದಿ ಓಡಿತು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ
ದೂರದಿ ನಿಂತು ಬೀರಿದಳು ಹೂನಗೆ
ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದ ಜೀವ ಹಾರಿತು ಮೆಲ್ಲಗೆ

ಮನದ ಮಾರ್ದನಿಯಂತೆ ಮುದ್ದಿನ ಮಾತು ಪೇಲ್ವ
ಕುಸುಮ ಕೋಮಲೆ ನನ್ನವಳು
ಜೀವನ ರಸಕಾವ್ಯಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿ ಬರೆದು
ಒಲವ ಸಹಿಯನು ಇಟ್ಟವಳು

50th Post

Yaaaayyyyyy!!! Let the celebrations begin...


50th post on my blog. A Journey that started almost two years ago with a tiny step has come a long distance. I started the blog primarily to record my trekking experience and then it has moved on to various other topics as well. I never expected my interest in writing to last so long..It feels as if Venkatesh Prasad (if you still remember him) has just scored a fifty!!

It has been a great journey so far...and a long way to go..
